A Proven Leader with a Rich History

Early Career Successes

Experience at the Collegiate Level

Freeze transitioned to college coaching in 2011 when he became the head coach at Arkansas State University. A year later, he moved to Ole Miss, where he led the Rebels for four seasons. During his tenure, he guided Ole Miss to two bowl victories and significantly improved the program's performance.

Recent Success at Liberty and Auburn

In 2019, Freeze became the head coach at Liberty University, an FBS independent program. In four seasons, he led Liberty to three bowl appearances, including a historic upset over Ole Miss in 2020. Following his success at Liberty, Freeze was named the head coach at Auburn University in November 2022.
