Circus Animal Exploitation Persists in the UK
Despite Wild Animal Ban, Domestic Animals Still Suffer
In spite of the ban on using wild animals in circuses in England since January 2020, domestic animals continue to be exploited in these traveling shows. Horses, dogs, and birds are forced to perform unnatural acts and endure grueling travel conditions.
Chipperfields Circus's Sad Reality
A recent inspection of Chipperfields Circus, one of the oldest circuses in the UK, revealed the confinement of two lions and a tiger to cramped cages. These animals were subjected to inhumane conditions and deprived of their basic needs.
The exploitation of domestic animals in circuses is a cruel and outdated practice that has no place in modern society. These animals deserve to live in humane conditions and free from abuse.
