Judges Free Pass In 2nd Vs Jays An Mlb Rarity

Aaron Judge's Record-Breaking Pace Continues

Yankees' Slugger Hits MLB-Leading 41st Homer of the Season

Blue Jays Intentionally Walk Judge to First

Aaron Judge continues to make history on the field, as the New York Yankees' slugger hit his 41st homer of the season on Thursday, giving him the MLB lead in that category. The home run came in the Yankees' 8-3 victory over the Toronto Blue Jays, and it was one of three long balls hit by the team on the night.

Judge's home run was a solo shot in the fourth inning off of Blue Jays starter Kevin Gausman. It was his second homer in as many days, and it extended his hitting streak to nine games. Judge is now on pace to break the MLB single-season home run record, which is currently held by Barry Bonds (73).

The Blue Jays intentionally walked Judge in the first inning with the bases loaded and no one out. It was the second time this season that Judge has been intentionally walked with the bases loaded, which is a testament to his power and ability to drive in runs.
