Supreme Court To Hear Plea Against Neet Pg 2023 Postponement

Supreme Court to hear plea against NEET PG 2023 postponement

NEET PG 2023 Exam may be postponed again

NEET PG 2023: SC to hear plea challenging postponement of exam

The Supreme Court will hear a plea challenging the postponement of the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test for Postgraduate (NEET PG) 2023 exam. The plea has been filed by a group of doctors who are seeking to have the exam conducted on the scheduled date of March 5, 2023. The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) had announced the postponement of the NEET PG 2023 exam on February 7, citing logistical issues. The exam was originally scheduled to be held on March 5, but has now been rescheduled to be held on March 18. The doctors who have filed the plea are arguing that the postponement of the exam will cause them undue hardship. They argue that they have been preparing for the exam for months and are now facing uncertainty about when it will be held. They also argue that the postponement will disrupt their plans for pursuing postgraduate medical education. The Supreme Court is expected to hear the plea on February 17. It is not yet clear whether the Court will grant the doctors' request to have the exam conducted on the scheduled date. The NEET PG exam is a highly competitive exam that is used to select candidates for admission to postgraduate medical courses in India. The exam is conducted by the NBEMS and is typically held in March of each year.
